Fortnite Season 2 Times Square Takeover

To kickoff a new season of “Fortnite”, Epic Games bought out many billboards throughout Times Square to do a “Takeover” on Sunday October 13th 2019. That same day, the Fortnite game server went down and no one was able to login and play. All they were greeted with when trying to do so, was an ominous blackhole animation. We took this same blackhole animation, and resized/reframed it across all the different billboards.

Two days later we did it again: the black hole returned to Times Square! But it didn’t stay a blackhole, it expanded and played the new trailer for Fortnite Season 2.
